The writer may be found at ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} linmeister.Lissa Quicksilver is a gnomish thief, scout, spy, locksmith, or trap expert, as circumstances dictate. She left her peaceful, pastoral home in High Vale several years ago, looking for excitement, new places, and gold. Right now she lives in the city of Scardale; a mostly lawless den of iniquity where the quick and clever stand a good chance of making their fortune- if they don't lose their heads to one of the city's warring factions first. Lissa has remarkable skill with locks and traps, which gave her a decent place in the local underworld. Inside, Lissa is more of a thrill-seeker than truly greedy. She delights in the challenge of wits that successful burglary requires, and considers killing occupants or guards the mark of a careless thief. While she is fond of gold and good living (particularly jewels), wealth isn't her driving force. Like most gnomes, Lissa has a healthy sense of humor and loves all kinds of jokes, especially pranks. She is a devout follower of Baravar Cloakshadow, the gnomish god of deception, trickery and illusions. Someday she hopes to serve him more directly. Baravar has a scattering of followers (called "the Illusory") in Scardale, and occasionally they meet up for ceremonies or discussion. | |||||||
